Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In chapters 14 & 15 Paul commanded the Romans, weak & strong, Jew & Gentile, to welcome one another in the faith.  He taught us: that by receiving one another, they would abound in hope because they can expect the Holy Spirit to cultivate the fruit of joy & peace in one another!

He boldly commands the Romans to practice their faith, but now, in today’s text, Romans 15:14-33, he lightens up a little, to remind them, he loves them. Though he’s an apostle who commands respect - he’s also a loving under-shepherd of Christ’s lambs. He believes in them because the same life changing Spirit who dwells in him dwells in them. He always finishes His work.  With this in mind, we can be sure that God will do his work in one another, we too can be Satisfied about One Another.

Satisfied In You,

Pastor John
