Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

This morning we are going to take a break from our exposition of Romans, but we’ll guided by a part of a verse that we studied a couple weeks ago Romans 12:2a  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.

We’re going to take some time today and next Sunday to focus on on what it means to have our minds renewed.  Today we’ll ask and answer the question, “Why do we need our minds renewed?”

As Christians, we’re commanded to love God with all our mind, as well as our heart, soul and strength.  Studying the Bible isn’t just for theologians, it is for everyone at every age or station in life because the Bible is God’s Word!  And His word clearly shows us over and over that the way we think will determine the that we will live.  May we, by God’s grace, see the need for our minds to be renewed as well as experience renewal, even today!
