Pastoral Greeting
Greetings Brothers & Sisters,
This morning we will study 2 Cor. 2:5-11 where Paul reveals a familiar pattern in the life of the Christian being Sanctified unto holiness. When we believe in the work of Christ on the cross, we are immediately justified before God, assured of our salvation if we were to die today. But as long as we live on this side of eternity we sin. If our faith is genuine, we will show the fruit of sanctification (being perfected overtime). The pattern we see as God’s children is this:
The pattern we see as God's children is this:
1. Blatant Sin
2. Punishment
3. Repentance
4. Forgiveness
5. Obedience
By God's grace, let us stay in that sweet spot, the green pastures of obedience, grazing, chewing, meditating upon the bread of life that sustains us in our journey to heaven.
Until We've Arrived,
Pastor John
