We are taking a break from our study in Romans again this week to finish looking at the Lord’s Prayer. So far in the prayer Jesus has taught us who we are praying to: our Father in heaven, and what to pray for first: hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We see that the priority in prayer is God, but in the rest of the prayer we see that we can ask for things for ourselves and others. My hope, once again, is that we will all grow in our desire to pray and that we will pray more effectively and earnestly, by God’s grace and for His glory.
